Kid’s Printable Schedule
School’s out for the summer! That means kids schedules can go haywire or be insanely busy. If you like to keep life organized, I’ve got a beautiful rainbow inspired routine chart and weekly schedule that will help you keep it all together. Best of all, there are totally free and you can print them from home!
Summer Schedule for School Age Children
I originally designed this daily schedule for my babysitter so she could have a good grasp of what our daily routine looks like. With that said, this would work fantastic for school age children who are home on their own or with a working parent and need a little help completing their self-care tasks, activities and household chores.

Kid’s Chore Lists
We’ve included a space for daily chores that kids need to complete every day as well as a projects section. This section can be used for creative projects, larger tasks like cleaning the bathroom, or goals your kids set for the summer.
Maybe your kids are trying to read so many hours or practice their favorite sport every day. Whatever it is, use this space to track your family and children’s projects and goals.

Self-Care Tasks
Some of us adults struggle with self-care tasks such as brushing our teeth and changing out of our pajamas. So it’s not surprise that kids need a little nudging in that department as well. Using the Morning Care space, include some reminders for the important self-care tasks.
Exercise Your Mind and Body
After we get the basics out of the way like brushing our hair, feeding the dog and making breakfast, it’s important to try encourage kids to use their day more mindfully. Instead of sitting in front of a game or screen all day, focus on them taking time to exercise their mind and body.
Whether you set specific goals for activities or just use it as a reminder, we have a space that gives them some ideas for ways to move their body and flex their mind every day.

Daily Routine Chart for Kids
Last but not, we have the core of this chart, which is a daily routine. You can lay our the routine you want for the morning and afternoon for the babysitter or for the older kids to follow themselves. This is a great framework to set expectations and add helpful reminders.
Contact Information
Be sure to include the phone numbers to the most important contact’s at the bottom of the chart in the colorful rainbow footer. Remind the kids or share valuable information for babysitters!

Free Weekly Schedule Printable
Once you have your Routine Chart filled out, you may be looking for more space to plan the weekly schedule. We all know that summer activities can pile up. From baseball and swimming lessons to clubs and camps, there is no shortage of kid’s activities to keep track of.
We have two versions of the Weekly Schedule. One that is more printer friendly with a light background and one that is flooded with rainbow colors for those of you who can’t get enough colors in your life!
Use the weekly schedule as a reminder for everyone or perhaps use it to help meal plan for the week. Regardless of it’s use, it is a beautiful addition that pairs wonderfully with the routine chart.

How Can I Edit the Chart?
We have a couple different ways to use these charts. If you have PDF software like Adobe Acrobat DC, you can quickly add your schedule to these fillable PDFs. If that is outside of your wheelhouse, we have also included blank JPEGs. Add it to the background of a Word document or fill it in by hand after you print it.
Why aren’t the fonts working?
If you are having trouble with getting the same fonts as our design to work, you can download the fonts for free and just drag them into your system fonts folder on your computers. Here are the two fonts I used that may not be standard.
Ostrich Sans Rounded – Download here -> https://www.dafont.com/ostrich-sans.font
Bebas – Download here -> https://www.dafont.com/bebas.font
If you don’t care about the fonts, go ahead and use the system default fonts.

How to Use Kids Schedules
I like to just slap these on my refrigerator with magnets, but you can get fancy and creative if you want. Laminate it or put it in an 8×10 frame and use dry erase markers so you don’t have to print a bunch of weekly schedules.
Laminating will also help the Routine Chart hold up better over time and allow kids to check things off the list. Use self-laminating sheets if you don’t have a laminating machine, as most of us don’t!
