Love Monster Energy Bites are a healthy Valentine’s Day treat perfect for school lunch boxes. Kids and adults will love these no bake peanut butter energy bites filled with chia seeds, oats, almonds and a little bit of chocolate for a protein packed snack!

Healthy Valentine’s Day Treats
I was inspired by these pink, red and white Valentine M&Ms to whip up Love Monster Energy Bites for some healthy Valentine’s Day Treats. I thought I would make something a bit healthier than these Buckeye Brownies, which are perfect for an easy and fun no-bake snack for both kids and adults!
These little Love Monsters were made with some candy eyeballs for a fun and healthy Valentine Snack for kids. If you don’t have the candies on hand, you can easily skip them and just add the Valentine’s M&Ms for a sweet chocolate and peanut butter treat.

Kid Friendly No Bake Energy Bites
I started with the base recipe from one of my most popular recipes, these Cranberry Almond Energy Bites and went for more of a monster cookie flavor. I kept it light by only adding a few M&Ms to each energy bite, but you could certainly load them down with chocolate…I won’t judge you! 😉
The best part of all, this no bake healthy snack can be whipped up in minutes. Let your children help add the ingredients to the food processor, under close supervision of course, and they can watch their creations come to life in no time. They will be very excited to add the special treat to their school lunch box.
Whenever I am letting my preschoolers help make a recipe with an appliance, I always unplug it while they are adding ingredients to be extra safe. I don’t trust them as far as I can throw them not to press buttons!

Healthy Valentines Snacks
We already have our Valentine’s made for daycare. My son is bringing these Pirate Tattoo Valentines we made for a fun non-candy option. My daughter got some sweet store bought Valentines that she got to add stickers to, to personalize them for each friend.

Healthy Valentine Treats for School
If you try to avoid too much sugar in your house and want your kids to bring healthy Valentine Treats for school, these Love Monster Energy Bites are great. Just be sure to always check with the school first to make sure there aren’t any kids with a nut allergy. If there is, you can always substitute SunButter for the peanut butter.
Thankfully we haven’t had any diagnosed allergies in our household yet, but I always try be mindful of others who might. If your school is super restrictive on homemade snacks being brought in, non-candy treats like the Temporary Tattoo Valentine’s are a great alternative.
