Frozen Lemonade Beverage
There is nothing quite like a cold glass of lemonade on a hot summer day. Add in strawberries and you have made it even better. Spike it with some vodka and you have an alcoholic drink that will cool you off and taste delicious! Toss 3 simple ingredients in your blender and you will have this slushy beverage that you will most definitely want seconds of.

Strawberry Lemonade Alcohol Drink
The sweetness of strawberries paired with tart lemons is one of those flavor combinations that is undeniably good. I’m not a big beer drinker, so if I belly up to a bar, my go-to drinks are a purple rain cocktail or vodka lemonade. If they have fresh strawberry puree to mix in the lemonade, it’s even better!

Frozen Cocktail Recipe
For this frozen strawberry vodka lemonade, you will need one can of frozen lemonade mix. I went with the plain lemonade concentrate, but you can add a little more flavor by picking from a variety of flavors in the freezer aisle. Pink lemonade, raspberry lemonade, strawberry lemonade and limeade are all great options as well.

Frozen Vodka Drink
When it comes to vodka, the best mixers tend to be juices. My go-to in my younger years was orange juice, but cranberry, pineapple and lemonade are all great options as well.
When it comes to blending up the drink in your blender, you can add more or less ice depending on how slushy you like your frozen drinks. I actually skipped the ice entirely because I used frozen strawberries and concentrate, for a thin slushy cocktail.
Substitute some of the water for a handful of ice and you will have a thicker slush consistency to your alcoholic beverage.

How to make frozen strawberry lemonade
Time needed: 5 minutes
This incredibly quick and simple recipe requires just 3 simple ingredients a a few minutes to make!
Add Ingredients to Blender Add a 16 ounce of frozen strawberries, a 16 ounce can of frozen lemonade concentrate, 1 cup vodka and 2 cups water (or 1 cup water and 1 cup ice cubes) to a blender.
Blend Blend on low until it starts to break down. Turn up to high and blend until smooth.
Adjust to taste Add up to an additional 1/2 cup vodka if you prefer a stronger cocktail. If the strawberries aren’t very sweet, sweeten the mix with a drizzle of honey until it reaches your desired sweetness.

Can I used fresh strawberries
Absolutely! Fresh strawberries will add more flavor, but they tend to be more expensive most times of the year. If you choose to use fresh strawberries, substitute 1 to 2 cups of water for ice cubes.
Other fresh berries such as raspberries or blueberries are other great options. You could even add in a few chunks of fresh pineapple for a more tropical drink.

Notes
Add up to 1 1/2 cups vodka depending on how strong you want your cocktail.
